The Beginner’s Guide to Urban Sketching

Read

Shirodkar sketches out of San Jose and this is the entry point to the urban sketching handbook series, of which I have most, if not all. (I’m guilty of looking at sketching more than actually sketching). It was published about ten volumes in, when somebody noticed there was no starting place for people like me. The subjects build from everyday objects at the kitchen table to people in motion to a street and it’s good on how to practice at home when you can’t get out.
